This unique team at Microsoft research was driving research towards a vision of an AI platform that provides foundational AI models for fields anchored in hard sciences, including biopharma, chemicals, materials, cosmetics, foods, alternative energy and decarbonization. The product helped unlock the creativity and productivity for Subject-Matter-Experts (SME) in the R&amp;D process.&nbsp; Collaborated with user researchers to redesign the tool, including rethinking the information architecture, adding new features, and removing friction from every system touchpoint. Shipped a product UI redesign in two months by leading a team of three designers.
